A ceramic lid for Highly Perfumed Bear’s Grease was found at the Trull site in Durham region, Ontario along with 215 other hygiene-related artifacts. The Trull site is a 19th century domestic farmstead occupied circa 1810-1860 and excavated by ASI in 2004. It was settled by American immigrant John Trull and was home to several generations of his family. In addition to the hygiene artifacts, over 11 000 Euro-Canadian artifacts were recovered from the site
