As far as is known there is no other comparable manuscript consisting of a varied compilation of hilye-i şerif texts by different authors, a text about the hilye, the Epithets of God and illustrations of Mecca and Medina, and all within a richly diverse decorative scheme. Consequently this anthology can be regarded as one of the highlights of the Sadberk Hanım Museum collection. The artist who decorated this book was clearly a master illuminator who emigrated from Iran to Istanbul, and who was well acquainted with existing motifs and designs, and skilled at combining them with his own creations.Reference: Tanındı, Z., Harmony of Line and Colour, Illuminated Manuscripts Documents and Calligraphy in the Sadberk Hanım Museum Collection, Sadberk Hanım Museum Publication, İstanbul 2019, pp. 266 - 273.
