Olinda arose as the result of the occupation of the Portuguese and it was one of the earliest and most important urban centers of Brazil Colony. It has a rich architecture, where the 16th century and the tiling work of the 18th and the 19th centuries coexist, as well as the neoclassical and the eclectic productions from the early 20th century. All of them impress with beauty and harmony.
