Historical Map of the Underground Railways

A fascinating map from 1975 attempting to give a breakdown of the history of each line and the growth of the network. This has not been attempted often, mainly due to the difficulty of succinctly showing such a complex story in map or diagram format. It’s certainly not something we’ll be attempting any time soon!
