History: Children and Puppetry

Children's Theatre at Karamu, the earliest students of drama and music were children performing mostly outdoors on the Grant Park playground nextdoor to the Playhouse Settlement. They also learned the art of puppetry. Pictured are two children preparing marionettes for a puppet show.
