“For the History of Journalism in Ceará [1824 - 1924], Tip. Moderna, Fortaleza, 1924, with 228 ps., in which 1435 periodical publications from Ceará are cataloged and accompanied by convenient clarification on the respective character [“Diário do Government of Ceará, April 1, 1824], the famous newspaper of the infamous Father Mororó. They came out in the first edition in 1898 [Tip. Studart], called “Catalogue of large and small format newspapers published in Ceará” and recording 507 publications. Even before, it had appeared in the Revista da Academia Cearense, vol. [sic.] of 1897, ps. 208, with annotation of 369 of them.” Raimundo Girão.
