Hoisting the Corpse into a Burial Cave

When a person dies, the body is wrapped in a woven blanket bound with twine and hoisted hundreds of feet up into the cliffs, where it will be laid to rest in an ancient burial cave, originally belonging to the Tellem ancestors of the Dogon.
