Yanusak Naosang created this sculpture to express his sentiment about a fading North-eastern Thai tradition. In Bun Phawet Festival, people used to make Tungs (a type of flag) with as many tails as the number of people in their family. These Tung could be seen hanging colourfully around temple pavilions, reflecting the family bond and communal unity, a disappearing sight in today’s time.
