The drawing room in the Paris home belonging to H.R.H. Edward, The Duke of Windsor, and his wife, Wallis Simpson, the Duchess of Windsor. In the Paris park Bois de Boulogne, the nineteenth-century house is located at 4 Route du Champ d'Entrainement. The room features light blue walls with gold trim. On the back wall, hangs a portrait of the Duke's mother, Queen Mary, in the robes of the Order of the Garter, by Sir William Llewellyn. On a Regence table with a Chinese lacquer top, sit a pair of seventeenth-century gold Augsburg swans, in which the Duchess sometimes places flowers. In the background, is a small black table upon which sits a small painting of Windsor Castle. The sofa is light blue, and trimmed in white and gold ribbon. A large chandelier is reflected in the mirrors on the left.
