The drawing depicts the sun, the moon, northern nature and peoples. Chum is at the centre of the image. It is an ancient type of dwelling that is still used by people. If you look closely, you can see the shaman inside the chum. The artist explains that the shaman represents human communication with the elements of nature. The mural took 48 hours to complete, utilizing 60 colors and around 52,000 dots. Photo by Alena Skala.
