Built between 1977 and 1979, houses in St Mark's Road and Cowper Terrace by Jeremy and Fenella Dixon, are considered a seminal work in British Post-Modern architecture. The scheme for 24 houses and 16 flats was exhibited at the 1980 architectural exhibition at the Venice biennale.
