Image headed by the number XIII of the manuscript "Memories of the Peruvian Monarchy or Sketch of the history of the Incas", written by Justo Sahuaraura (Cusco, 1775 - Canas, ca. 1853), a descendant of the Inca monarchy and a vocation for libertarian cause. The manuscript contains several independent parts, including a genealogy of the governors of the Inca Empire, events of the Conquest of Peru, subsequent rebellions such as that of Túpac Amaru in 1780, among other news up to around Independence.
The character inside the medallion surrounded by a laurel wreath represents the Inca Huáscar surrounded by a laurel wreath. In the lower part and on the back of the portrait, there is a brief historical description of the Inca and his descendants.
