In the central circle a series of shotguns are presented around a central dot on the red background; above and under the circle are floral applications with the motif of a bird, placed in four angles of a square. Below is the author’s signature and title done calligraphically, stretching over the whole width of paper in four lines. The artist's introvert character and the life in the imposed isolation defined his expression, including the selection of subject matters and techniques. Focused on one object for presentation, a specific self-portrait, where he is carrying a firearm (or is surrounded by it), Lobanov creates an authentic matrix for his compositions, always applying the same means of shaping – Indian ink, a pencil, crayons, felt pens, sometimes even a photograph. His realisations bring certain spiritual atmosphere, as a reflexion of inner psychological world (N. Ljubomirović)
