Also known as Spanish bluebell or wood hyacinth, this perennial species belongs to the Asparagaceae family. It has an underground bulb from which the leaves and a flower scape grow every year at the beginning of spring. At the Botanical Garden it can be found near the Orangery, in a shady undergrowth.
