Hyanggap Norigae

According to tradition, various aromas have the ability to
deter misfortune and to clear one’s mind. Thus gold, silver and various
types of jade were used to engrave and etch auspicious motifs, and gold
and silver threads were incorporated in the creation of incense cases.
Inside the case, a single layer of red silk gauze was placed before housing the incense.
