A residential settlement around Tarban Nawab Street and beyond the settlement, the area marked as the wasteland are visible on the map. Besides the residences, a large graveyard belongs to the Muslim community is identifiable. The area beyond the graveyard is of Makta Ghalib Jnag Br. There was a system of land tenure in the Telangana region, under which the govt land varying in size, either from small holdings to a whole village or group of villages, were given on a fixed rent to bring the new lands under the cultivation. The holder was known as Maktadars, were locally powerful landlords. So, such land obviously was called as Makta land and in due course, came into existence that calling any area part of Makta land along with the holder name like Makta Ghalib Jang Br.
