I Charleston Jerusalem

I used to love jazz and swing music from a young age. Eight years ago I found out about swing dancing. I remember that from the first moment I saw it I knew that this is something that I want to learn and do a lot in my life. Back then we didnt really have classes in jerusalem, there were attempts to build something but it didnt become solid. I had to drive once a week, every week, an hour drive to Tel aviv to take classes for a few years. In 2014, just after coming back from Herrang, I was a main figure, as a teacher of the school “Swing It,” in building a swing dancing community in my city - Jerusalem. Until this day we give weekly classes; over the years we have taught hundreds of students and we organize events for the community all the time.
