This figurative Bronze work is one of several created in conjunction with the construction and opening of Fifth Third Field ahead of the 2002 International League season. Sculptor Frank Gaylord proposed this scene of three young fans tracking a fly ball (in this case, an almost-a-home-run pulled foul to right field). This work, together with artist Emanuel Enriquez's Who's Up? across the opposite end of the outfield, create a nostalgic atmosphere reminding fans of the childlike enthusiasm and collective imagination that underpin the game of baseball.
