The Antunes piano features essentially the same piano action developed by Bartolomeo Cristofori (1655-1731), the inventor of the piano. The instrument has a compass of 51 notes. The key levers are made of spruce, the naturals covered with boxwood, and the sharps are made of a dense tropical hardwood covered with ebony.
