Sheet music composed by William Sydney Mount. Mount concerned himself with a wide array of variations of folk tunes and assembled hundreds of examples over the course of his lifetime, similar to the dedicated collecting efforts he witnessed from his uncle. While he enjoyed copying (both from memory and from published sources) sheet music, he also composed a small number of pieces, including Stony Brook Moonshine and In the Cars on the Long Island Railroad.
