In Vicinity

In Vicinity depicts new suburban development areas near Tallinn, Estonia.
The series documents the results of the vast change from former agricultural
farming lands used by the local kolkhoz to new housing developments in the
mid ­2000s. The photographs were shot within a five­ kilometer radius of where
the artist grew up.
