In yellow frame

The painting “In a Yellow Frame” is from the series of abstract paintings from the last period of artist´s work. It consists of many layers creating an abstract composition. The bright blue stain floating in the centre of the painting is covered with impasto drawing consisting of thick lines. The event is framed in a yellow strip, which the artist ironically identified as a frame. The painting is very sensitive, and its expression resembles music.
