Indian Ekka Bus

Black and white photograph of an Indian Ekka bus horse carriage with people. Ekka, derived from Hindi EK that means one, was a single horse carriage used in Northern India. It had a pair of large wooden wheels. These carriages were commonly used as cabs or private vehicles in 19th Century in India.
