Part of the Migration Museum's Community Banners project 'Memories and Dreams'. This banner is symbolic of Indian immigrants' experiences in South Australia.
The banner is decorated with traditional Indian designs and animals that symbolise immigration to Australia from India and the transfer of ideas to the new land. The images on the banner are also a reminder that while adjusting to life in their new country, Indian people retain their cultural traditions.
