Situated in West Arnhem Land, it is here that the ancient art forms of the Kunwinjku people come to life through the skillful hands of our talented artists.

In Yekke, the “Cold Season” around May-June, everyone feels the cold. You can see men, women and children at home warming themselves around the campfire. It’s also a good season for fishing. Men might take a djalakirradj (multi-pronged fish spear) to go fishing, and women throw hand lines.
