Ise Kawasaki Shounin-kan (Merchant Museum) – Memory of the Wholesale District Which Supported Ise, the City of Deities

“Ogawa Sake-ten (Liquor Shop),” one of the representative merchant houses in the Kawasaki area which owned a warehouse by a riverside, was established in the Edo Period (1600-1868). Upon request on its preservation and utilization, Ise City renovated it to the base of historical and cultural exchange in Ise Kawasaki. It is designated as a Registered Tangible Cultural Property of Japan.
