Italian Banner

This banner is part of the Migration Museum's Community Banners project, 'Memories and Dreams'. It is symbolic of Italian immigrants' experiences in South Australia.
This banner is machine made, the green, red and white vertical stripes of the Italian flag are on the left and the white stars against navy represent the Australian flag. Both are overlaid on the gold, red and black of the Aboriginal flag and they are backed in turquoise and white with a turquoise gusset along the top.
