Evening dress of pink rayon designed by Jacque Heim as part of the "Heim, Jeunes Filles" label for Harrods. The evening dress is full length, with full skirt and a princess line waist. It is sleeveless, with a square neck and broad shoulder straps. Embroidered with opalescent sequins at decolletage. Pleats at centre back to hide zip. Stiffened under skirt.
The Paris couturier Jacque Heim was one of the first fashion houses to produce a ready to wear collection. This dress is from his ‘Juene Filles’ line, which aimed at capturing the younger market, and was worn by its donor for a ball at Blenheim Palace.
