By marrying Louise Thérèse de Barbançon, indirect descendent of Philippe du Moulin in 1720, Jacques Savare became Lord of Moulin. Pictured wearing a turban, Jacques Savare hearkens back up to his Egyptian ancestors. In 1172 during the 2nd and 3rd crusade "Savare", Soudan of the Great Cairo and Egypt, was murdered. His son became the ward Christian lords baptized him and took him back to England in 1198. His descendent Guillaume Savare came to France with the English army in 1423 and settled in Tours area.
