고종 14년(1877)에 '수령(壽寧)'이란 존호를 문조비 신정왕후(1808~1890)에게 올리면서 만든 어보이다. 신정왕후(1808~1890)에게 올린 27차례 존호 중 14번째 존호이다. 초기에 헌종이 2번(孝裕, 獻聖) 철종이 1번(宣敬) 올린 존호의 어보는 없다.
