A glimpse of the lower pond of the Japanese Garden during the fall. Located in the highest part of the Botanical Garden of Rome, this garden was designed and built by the landscape architect Takeshi "Ken" Nakajima between 1990 and 1994. The garden is spread over two levels, where the main element is constituted from the water which, flowing through a waterfall and small streams, forms two small lakes, one upper and one lower, and becomes an important unifying element.
