On 20th January, 1994 Kenya mourned its great son, a nationalist and a patriotic citizen. In reality, the country had lost its strongest opposition leader – Jaramogi Oginga Odinga -- known in African politics as ‘Double O’. Odinga with five other opposition members formed the Forum for the Restoration of Democracy (FORD), the core of the pro-democracy movement, thus changing Kenya’s political landscape and opening up the political space in 1992. Kenya's renowned photojournalist Mohamed Amin, also known as 'Six Camera Mo' captured some of Africa's defining moments and photographed almost every African leader in the 20th century.
