Jigsaw puzzle:Inspiration - The Song of the Waterfall Novelty Puzzle No. 87

Titled "Inspiration - The Song of the Waterfall," this puzzle is a great example of a home crafted jigsaw puzzle carrying all of the major attributes of the difficult puzzles of the early 1930s. An irregular edge, different colored adjacent pieces, and a double illustration to add to the difficulty. Clyde Richburg, the maker, was a mill worker in Andover, MA, likely unemployed during the Great Depression.
