The Jotake-R grenade launcher was a weapon designed and developed by the terrorist group ETA, between 1987 and 1988. Its existence was discovered after the seizure of a document in Anglet (Pyrenees) in late November 1989. Like the Jotake-N, these weapons were devised to be used on official buildings and barracks of the corps. Luckily, they only caused material damage rather than human casualties, as they were very inaccurate and only detonated when they struck with their front end. This particular weapon was seized following the disbanding of the Goierri command in Villabona, Gipuzkoa.
