Opaque and colour-twist glass jug with a concave base, pyriform body, slender neck and handle. The colourless ground is decorated with spiralling stripes of white opal and cobalt blue glass. The broad blue stripes alternate with four slender white stripes. The jug was made by the free-blowing technique. A small dip in the base has been caused by pressure from the pontil. The knob on the lid is in the form of a Mevlevi dervish cap. There is a pontil scar on the lid but not on the body of the jug.
