Hubert de Givenchy (A) evening jumpsuit of black silk gazar and (B) embroidered overskirt;
(A) Black silk gazar jumpsuit with scoop neckline; short, one half length set-in sleeves cut in three pieces; boxy silhouette with princess seams extending from shoulder seam to waist seam; additional princess seam extending from armscye to waist seam; one inch bias waist band set in between bodice and pants; unfitted pants with slight taper at ankles; hidden zipper closure at center back with single hook-and-eye at top; black silk crêpe georgette lining at bodice; bias crêpe georgette lining at waistband; lightweight silk plainweave lining at pants.

(B) Wrap-around short skirt (apron) in black gazar embroidered with pink, green, and blue floral motif; black silk satin waistband; open at center back with two hook-and-eye closures at waistband; black silk satin ribbon tie belt tacked to proper right side waistband; gazar overlaid with black silk georgette, embroidered with stripe of meandering flowers in pink and green cotton embroidery floss with some leaves embroidered in thick, loosely twisted blue and multi-colored wool; over-embroidered with sequins in blue, pink, silver and green in various shapes and sizes; gaps embroidered with metallic thread; two side seams; lining of black silk gazar with fullness lightly gathered at waistband; two lingerie loops.
