Ever seen the inside of a cocoa pod?
These beans are separated from the placenta for fermenting into chocolates. They can also be sprouted into seedlings to plant as new trees!
The beans themselves don’t taste like chocolate quite yet. Instead they give of a sweet-sour flavor similar to mangosteens.
