Some of the most ground-breaking women-centric characters are exemplified with resilience, strength, passion but mostly their uncompromising spirits. Each of these characters define strength and lead with an example. A visually impaired Zooni Ali Beg played by Kajol in the film 'Fanaa' (2006) sets out to discover love and life. On her journey, she falls in love with a flamboyant Delhi tour guide Rehan Qadri (essayed by Aamir Khan), unaware it could not only change her life but also, destroy her. After they get married and he helps her to regain her eyesight, Rehan disappears to venture into his dark side. She raises their son single-handedly, inspite of many challenges. She’s free-spirited and passionate about love but when she has to make the difficult choice between right and love, she chooses the path of righteousness.
