Wendy says: "As a nurse and an artist I know first hand how the pandemic has affected the NHS. Wearing the uncomfortable, and often painful PPE all day, every day, has taken it's toll on staffs physical and mental health. I offered the chance of a portrait to all of my colleagues and was astounded at the response. Names were put in a hat, 127 in total, and Katy's name was drawn out."

Katy says: "This has been such an unprecedented time in my career, which I hope never to repeat. I was delighted to hear that I had won the opportunity to have my portrait painted, reflecting this moment in time. I absolutely love it, and it will no doubt be a source of discussion in the years to come!"
