The mausoleum with an area of more than a hundred square meters has been preserved only partially, having lost the facade wall with a portal and a high dome. The mausoleum is one of the few examples of medieval construction that used both raw and burnt bricks. Its walls are built of square unburned bricks, and the front wall with the portal was lined with carefully polished burnt bricks of the same format. In addition to facing, the mausoleum was decorated with epigraphic ornamentation. According to legend, Rajab-Khalifa is a Muslim preacher from the time of the formation of Islam, and his mausoleum served as a madrasah during his lifetime, posthumously became a mausoleum and is a place of pilgrimage.
