This is an advertisement on the back cover of a cinema magazine in 1949. The design uses the Chinese character “shu” (from tokushu) and is surrounded by the number “6,” which was adopted for the launch of the new color “Permanent Rose” (No. 6). This new color was inspired by the color of lip rouge Elizabeth II wore at her wedding in England in 1947.
