Beni Museum

Beni Museum
Tokyo, Japan

These lipsticks with a push-up container were sold by Isehan-honten from 1947 to 1952. They came in eight colors. Lipstick containers that used fittings on the metal container to push up the lip rouge were the main type until rolling types appeared. These lipsticks were sold under the brand Kiss Me Rouge since the early Showa Period; however, the name was changed to Kiss Me Tokushu (special) Rouge in 1947.
