The special exhibition "Sekiya Hisashi and Sports Manga: Prolonged Match - Another History of Shonen Manga" which ran from July 18 to September 13, 2020 featured original drawings and print works by Hisashi Sekiya (1928-2008), a shonen manga artist associated with Kitakyushu who was active in the golden age of monthly shonen manga magazines.
