Knute Rockne

Knute Rockne poses with a 1927 Dictator and some Notre Dame football players in thie promotinal photo. Studebaker employed Rockne as a company spokesman and promoter from 1928 until his tragic death in March 1931. Later that year, Studebaker introduced the low-priced Rockne automobile, which was named in the coach's memory.
