Sokołowsko, St. Pierre & Miquelon

Krzysztof Kieślowski was an ardent lover not only of skiing, but also of sailing. He practised this sport in the Masurian Lakeland, which was his summer holiday destination. Sailing motifs, however, are almost absent from his work. Only in Blind Chance is there a scene with the meeting between the main character, Witek Długosz, and his party superior in a port, by a sailboat. In a short conversation with Adam (Zbigniew Zapasiewicz), Witek carelessly reveals the place where illegal publications are printed.
