Small olla with lid

Small globular olla in bucchero (ceramic jar) and lid with long handle found at the furnaces of Sant'Ilario d'Enza (Reggio Emilia). The jar, produced locally, recalls the Ligurian funerary practices of the Chiavari area, and was probably used as a funerary urn or in ceremonies related to the cult of the dead.
