We live in a world disconnected from reality as we do not even know what our real needs are. We are invaded by artificial urges promulgated by a society pushing towards luxury through consumerism. This project aims to reconnect the visitors to their essential needs through the presence of the vital elements of food production: soil, sun, water, and seeds. While the first three are often discussed, the seeds are usually left behind. The Casa de Semillas (house of the seeds) is an indispensable element of every new community like the one the Ayllu Arariwakuna Project is putting in place. It is what allows these communities to be autonomous. Today the seed production of the world is controlled by few organisms, and its genetic biodiversity is dwindling.or worse, forbidden. It is our
responsibility as seed keepers to preserve this biodiversity.
