La Cebada Market

In the 16th century, there was a market in the Plaza de la Cebada, where goods entered through the Puerta de Toledo to supply the city. At the end of the 19th century, due to the growth of Madrid, a market was created to supply food in a hygienic way. The market was refurbished in 2009.
