A gray rectangular earthenware jar with a figure of a man behind a woman in a dominating pose in chocolate brown.
José Luis Cuevas used talavera in murals, sculptures and to make objects such as vessels and jars.
In this jar he drew a couple, a woman in front of the man. The name "La dominadora" could be related not only her position but also to the posture of her arms, which in body language reflects self confidence and authority.
There are various jars with this couple.
