Painting of a seascape. It is included in the album of photographic miniatures by José María Eguren from the archives of the National Library of Peru.
José María Eguren (Lima, 1874-1942) lived most of his life in the district of Barranco, in the city of Lima, which is located near the sea. Both, his photographs and paintings, are related with marine motifs, coastal landscapes with and without people, as well as docks and various marine means of transport. Particulary, his marine paintings detail the movement of waves and colorful skies.
